My life without tube feeds
07 07 2010 - The last tube feed I ever got!
We are a whole year down the line - can you believe it! And I am well. I am growing. I weigh just over 11kg. The most I have ever weighed. I am at a normal school. I take a lunch box to school and I am able to sit with my friends and eat with them. My teachers say that I am very capable and probably one of the most manipulative kids at school. I think I just know how to get my way!

Eating like a normal child has made me able to concentrate on my other milestones. Socially it has helped me in so many ways. In our home, many special moments are around food. My Dad loves cooking and every weekend is filled with making either pizza, bread, sushi, homemade pasta, biscuits, omlettes or something new and exciting. Now I am able to really enjoy it, from the preparion and now eating it as well. I can say
